This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the bluegrays.com website. Data processing in the mobile apps is explained in the KVKK Privacy Notice and the Privacy Policy. Cookies are managed by Yunus Emre EKE (BlueGrays), [email protected].
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file saved in your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies include your browser's local storage and tracking pixels. They're used to keep you signed in, remember your preferences or measure how you use the site. Personal data such as your IP address and device information may be processed through cookies.
2. Your cookie choices
- The first time you visit the site, a cookie preferences window opens. There you can choose Accept all, Reject all or pick by category. Rejecting cookies doesn't stop you from using the site.
- Apart from strictly necessary cookies, cookies run only in the categories you allow, and only after you allow them. Google tags start with consent set to "denied" by default (Google Consent Mode v2).
- You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of the site.
- Your choice is kept for 6 months. After that, we ask you again.
3. Cookies we use
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies (no consent needed)
These are needed for the site to work and can't be turned off. Legal basis: establishing and performing a contract, and legitimate interest (Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), Art. 5(2)(c) and (f)).
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Authorization | BlueGrays | Keeping you securely signed in after you log in (httpOnly) | For the session, up to 30 days |

| __cf_bm and similar | Cloudflare | Telling bot traffic apart and protecting the site against attacks | Up to 30 minutes |
3.2 Analytics cookies (with your consent)
These let us measure, through anonymous statistics, which pages of the site are used and how much. Legal basis: explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5(1)).
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_<id> | Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) | Distinguishing visits and page views | Up to 2 years |
If you don't allow analytics, Google receives cookieless measurement signals that don't identify you.
3.3 Marketing cookies (with your consent)
These are used to measure how well our app's promotional ads on Google and Meta work, for example how many people go from the site to the app store. Legal basis: explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5(1)). These cookies never run on the sign-in, sign-up and password pages.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au and Google Ads conversion tags | Google Ads | Measuring ad clicks and visits sent on to the app store | Up to 90 days |
| _fbp and Meta Pixel | Meta Platforms | Measuring how well Meta ads work | Up to 90 days |
3.4 Embedded videos
YouTube videos on project pages are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). No YouTube cookies are set until you play a video. When you play one, YouTube (Google) processes data such as your IP address and device information under its own policy.
3.5 Local storage
We may store some interface preferences, such as your language, in your browser's local storage. This information stays on your device.
4. Transfers abroad
Google, Meta and Cloudflare process data outside Türkiye, including in the US and Ireland. These transfers are made with the safeguards set out in KVKK Art. 9. You'll find the details in Section 5 of the KVKK Privacy Notice.
5. Browser settings
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you may not be able to sign in. Help pages:
To turn off Google Analytics on all websites, you can use Google's opt-out browser add-on.
6. Your rights and changes
To use your rights under KVKK Art. 11, you can write to [email protected] (see the KVKK Privacy Notice). If we add a new cookie category, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent again.
