N20 series micro motors are compact actuators that can produce high torque despite their very small size thanks to the metal gearbox (reducer) integrated at the end. They are available in 3V, 6V or 12V operating voltages and with different speed (RPM) options. Since the output pins of microcontrollers cannot provide the current to run the motor directly, they need a motor driver module such as L9110S, DRV8833 or L298N to control speed and direction with Arduino or ESP series boards. With a very narrow width of about 12mm, they are the most popular choice for smart door locks, mini robots, electronic valves and all kinds of precision mechanical projects where space is at a premium.
