TTP223 is a single-channel touch button module that works on the principle of capacitive sensing and detects finger contact without the need for mechanical pressure. Since there is no physical wear point, it has a much longer life compared to push buttons. When touch is detected, its digital output goes HIGH and can be used directly with the digital pins of Arduino and ESP series boards. Thanks to its pad size, it is possible to create invisible touch areas by placing it behind thin plastic or glass surfaces. It replaces the push button in projects where the use of physical buttons is not suitable, such as smart mirror controls, hidden door locks and waterproof panels.
