The 4 7 Segment Display is a component consisting of four numeric displays placed side by side and is commonly used to display four-digit data such as clocks, thermometers or counters. The segments of each digit are connected in parallel and work by "multiplexing", making it appear as if four different digits are being displayed simultaneously with very few pins. It is a cost-effective and efficient solution for clearly presenting numerical values in digital projects.
